Jason Provonsha, CEO
As CEO, Jason's focus is on business development, company growth, and client development, leveraging years of executive experience in leadership roles at Coyote Logistics and Access America Transport. Prior to this, Jason led business development at a content marketing firm where he spent 12 years and helped grow it from a startup to a national leader in it's industry. Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Steve Cox, President and COO
Steve serves as Steam's President and COO and is responsible for company operations and culture. Steve joined Steam having served previously as EVP of Access America Transport, one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing domestic 3PLs and ranked #9 on the Forbes list of America’s Most Promising Companies. Steve held prior roles in supply chain and logistics at Target, Supervalu, and CH Robinson Worldwide. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from St. Cloud State University.
Adam Shearer, CFO
Adam leads Steam's financial strategies and has responsibility over the company's overall financial performance. He joined Steam after successful executive roles at Bellhops, a high growth technology business in the moving space. Prior to Bellhops, Adam held key positions at global accounting firms EY (Ernst & Young) and PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers). Adam is a CPA and completed his bachelor's and master's programs at the University of Tennessee.
Steve Smith, VP of Customs Brokerage
Steve came to Steam in January 2013 with 23 years of international experience working in customs brokerage and freight forwarding operations, ten of those overseeing the import operations for the product development group of a large American retail clothing chain. Steve is a licensed Customs House Broker and an officer of the company, acting as both the corporate license holder for Customs & Border Protection purposes and the Vice President of Customs Brokerage.
Brook Cummings, Director of Exports
Brook joined Steam Logistics in April 2013, bringing with him 11 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, with six of those spent in various Transportation Security Administration (TSA) roles. Brook serves as Steam’s Director of Exports, and is also the company’s IAC Security Coordinator. Brook earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Berry College in Rome, GA.
